The 2016 Diversity Program Consortium Annual Meeting is only weeks away! The theme for this year's meeting is “Making Science Smarter: Improving the Biomedical Think-Force through Diversity”. This year's theme was inspired in part by an article in Scientific American that can be found here. The Annual Meeting will take place October 11 and 12 in the city of Long Beach, California. Consortium members will share some of their program innovations, implementation achievements and challenges, with a particular focus on harmonizing evaluation plans. We look forward to seeing everyone!
Activities during the event are designed to continue developing plans to demonstrate the Consortium's achievements, share BUILD and NRMN best practices, further strengthen connections with consortium members to leverage the Consortium's work.
This event is by invitation only and registration is now closed. Confirmed guests will receive an update on the program and other logistics details by September 28. Stay tuned for those and let us know if you have any questions by emailing communications@diversityprogramconsortium.org.
