Professional Skills Development for Mentors, led by Principal Investigator Dr. Doris Rubio of the University of Pittsburgh, Institute for Clinical Research Education, is one of five supplement projects funded by the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN).
NRMN is proud to announce that applications are now open for mentors to participate in the project's curricular program, entitled Professional Mentoring Skill Enhancing Diversity (PROMISED).
The PROMISED program is designed to build leadership skills among mentors and researchers in their work with diverse teams and mentees. Participation is free and combines in-person training in career coaching with an interactive month-long series of online training modules on leadership and mentoring. Online module topics include the following competencies:
Participants can earn CME/CEU credit and a Certificate in Leadership upon completion of PROMISED.
