Communications Working Group (Comm WG)

The Comm WG has been up to lots of fun and exciting work! This month the Comm WG selected the logos they will propose to the Executive Steering Committee to become THE Consortium’s logo. Special thanks to the CEC designers who created the beautiful set of logos that integrated every site’s input. This month we also kicked off the site level communication strategy presentations. We’d like to give a special shout out to NRMN, MSU, UAF, and CSUN for presenting this month as part of the Comm WG meeting. Since our month is particularly upbeat with the RPPRs becoming due at the end April, there was no DPC monthly webinar but BUILDs had an RPPR webinar with NIH. If you have any questions, please make sure you contact your NIH/NIGMS Program Officer and Grants Management Office. For next month’s DPC webinar, we will be listening to PPsC leadership on details about a Special Issue. Please continue visiting the Intranet’s calendar and stay tuned for special announcements and webinars.  As if all this wasn’t enough, guess what? SACNAS and ABRCMS have opened registration for this year’s conference! For ABRCMS the abstract submission, travel award, and presenter subsidy opens April 19^th. Please make sure to visit their website if you are interested in becoming an exhibitor or presenter.
