How did you get involved with NRMN?
I learned about the National Research Mentoring Network from Dr. Ken Pepion and Dr. Sandra Murray, two of my mentors. They first told me about NRMN at the Institute on Teaching and Mentoring, the largest gathering of underrepresented minority Ph.D. scholars in the country. After learning about the online resource, I was encouraged by one of my mentors, Dr. Laurie Connor, to become more active. Since I have decided to become more active, I have enjoyed my experience.
